Hi all :)

I'm back with a page share featuring a Christmas photo. Yes, Christmas in February!

The first Instax picture that I've scrapbooked. (My favourite Christmas present!)

Valentine's Day!!!

Today is Valentine's Day and I'm so excited! Last day of blog posts!

Today I'm showcasing the gift basket I made for my boyfriend to finish off all the Valentines I've given him over the past 2 weeks.

I decided to do a date night/snack theme.
A snuggie, beef jerky, turtles, gum, chips, cashews, a few little Valentine's themed toysand games, Werthers, Hershey's kisses, Godiva chocolates, Lindor chocolate, 3 movies, sparkling apple juice with cheesy Valentine glasses, popcorn, kinder surprises, mimi eggs, and some Valentine themed chocolate. A bunch of his favourite things :)

A closeup of the Hot Tamale Valentine.
I am still going to make a box for him to keep all of the Valentines in. Any ideas for me?
We are going out for heart-shaped pizza and then going to see The Vow tonight. Perfect stereotypical Valentine date. :)

Thank you for sharing these Valentine posts with me. I have really enjoyed making these projects and I hope you found at least one of them inspirational! Have a great Valentine's Day everyone. :)

Tomorrow!

Today is Day 13 of blog posts. :) Almost done....because tomorrow is Valentine's day!
I really do like love Valentine's Day!

Today's project:

I basically spray painted a stick white, then added a tag. So simple and easy! You could also use acrylic paint and a paintbrush to make it even easier.
{sorry about the picture quality, my camera is having issues atm}

Make sure to come back tomorrow for my last Valentine blog post! :)

Day Number 12.

It's day 12 of Valentine posts! I can't believe Valentine's day is in 2 days. Is everybody ready?

Today's project is possibly the lamest yet lol.

I used a trophy that I purchased at my local dollar store.
The "cup" is filled with gold foil chocolate money.

The detail. I couldn't resist using that map paper again. It's fantastic.
Come back tomorrow for day 13!

Day 11

Day #11 of Valentine posts!!

My boyfriend is from Fulda, Germany and I'm from Ontario, Canada so I added twine between our two birthplaces. :)
I love this map paper from October Afternoon. Seriously awesome!

Thanks for looking at my blog today. Make sure to check out my previous Vday posts and check back in tomorrow!

TEN.

Today is the tenth day of my Valentine posts. Only a few days left!

Today I have a super cute project to share :)

I bought the mini take out box at Michaels for about $2. They carry all sorts of colours as well!

I filled the box with...you guessed it! Mini paper fortune cookies. The lowest calorie cookie ever made ;)
I found the instructions over here. It made it so simple and quick to use their free printable. I LOVE free printables, don't you?
I did make my "cookies" a bit smaller using the size adjustment on my printer. (Because my box is itty bitty.)
Each "cookie" has a typewritten, love-related fortune inside.

Thanks for checking out my blog today!!

On the 9th day of Valentines

Welcome back!

A quick card to share today.

A super quick card using a sheet of paper from an old book.
I added a sentiment strip and some washi tape and it was good to go!

TFL :)

Cinnamon Hearts

It's day 8 of my 14 days of Valentines!

Today isn't a card, and it has no pun. It's a Valentine treat bag!

A medium sized white paper bag filled with cinnamon hearts. (Wow, those things are addicting!)
I covered the mini-clothespin with vintage pink lace, the accordion flower was made on my Scor-pal and I added texture to the edges by cutting them with some decorative scallop scissors.

I actually used a two-tone paint effect for the butterfly since I didn't have any pink ink. We scrapbookers are resourceful lol.

Thanks for checking out my blog today. :) Day #9 of Valentine sweetness tomorrow!!

Seventh Day

We're halfway to Valentine's day!!

Today I just have a simple Valentine card to share. A card like this could easily be used for any other occasion.

Simple layers and clean lines.
I just LOVE that flower created by Norine Borys

Check back tomorrow for a "real treat"!

Day Number Six.

It's day 6 of Valentine posts!

Today it's a bit of a "punny" project... And oh so cheesy.

A small glassine pocket with a playing card inside. (there is a message written on the card)
The clock circle is actually cut from a piece of Prima packaging.

Thanks for checking out the blog today :)

#5!

So, this is the fifth day of Valentine  posts that I have to share. :)

A super simple card. Seriously, I made it in Word. Took 5 minutes ;)

Sidenote, I love the Studio Calico fabrips! That pink houndstooth..sigh.

Come check out a bit of "punny" goodness tomorrow!

Day #4!

Today is day #4 of my Valentine blog-a-thon!

All tied up.
I have to say, that "Vintage Whimsy" floral paper by The Girls Paperie might be my all time fave.

There are 3 layers to the heart and each one folds up over the other.
I stickled each edge,  and added lace to the edges of the sheet music layer.
I added a typewritten sentiment inside, along with some hand cut hearts.
Thanks for checking out Day #4! :)

Day #3

Welcome back for day #3!

It turns out that coming up with Valentine puns is a lot of "heart" work, so today's project doesn't have a pun. ;)

A mini Valentine spool.

I painted the plain wood spool with blue paint then distressed it slightly. I glued one end of the vintage music paper to the spool then wrapped it around.

The flower is from Prima.
The twine unties to reveal a wrap-around Valentine message!

Come back tomorrow for Day #4 :)

Day #2

Here's day #2 of my 14 days of Valentines!

A library card pocket, complete with pun.
One of my current favourite techniques is glitter misting. love it :)

I hope you enjoyed day 2! Thanks for visiting.
